There would be a stop in Primosten for lunch and a swim. \u00a0With the exception of a day near Hvar, we hadn&#8217;t seen so many boats sailing and motoring, as we saw between Trogir and Sibenek.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1196\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1196\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1012-640x195.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1196\" alt=\"Enroute to Sibenek\" src=\"http:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1012-640x195.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"195\" srcset=\"https:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1012-640x195.jpg 640w, https:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1012-640x195-300x91.jpg 300w, https:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1012-640x195-500x152.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1196\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Enroute to Sibenek<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We moored stern to on the Sibenek town quay and went wandering around the medival city.\u00a0 As with many towns there are a large number of churches.\u00a0 We really related to the Cathedral of St James.\u00a0 It was beautiful, with a gorgeous statute of Micheal the Archangel over the entry. More remarkable are the 74 faces on the Apse, who are said to be the realisation of the common man but &#8216;My Croatia&#8217; says were the collective faces of the 74 prominent Sibenik citizens who refused to contribute to the building fund.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1204\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1204\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1054-640x4141.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1204\" alt=\"Faces of Sibenik Citizens\" src=\"http:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1054-640x4141.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"414\" srcset=\"https:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1054-640x4141.jpg 640w, https:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1054-640x4141-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/merrington.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/IMG_1054-640x4141-463x300.jpg 463w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1204\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Faces of Sibenik Citizens<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lesley, James and I climbed to the Monastery garden of St Lawrence, which was very lovely.
